At the SEMA Show, Country music superstar Luke Bryan introduced a stylized Suburban concept he created in collaboration with Chevrolet, reflecting his “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” outlook. Digital Image editing, motion graphics and audio post helped introduce the vehicle.
The number one problem in the sweeper industry is finding qualified people and then properly training them to drive machines that cost $90,000 or more. Proper sweeping techniques with modern machines have become more complex and the cost of operation has increased accordingly. Companies need to be more selective in choosing the the right candidates to become operators. SweeperSIM™ by Digital Image is the tool to address training and qualifying operators entering the parking lot sweeping business.
SweeperSIM™ is a power sweeper simulator allows the training of new parking lot sweeper operators in a simulated sweeping environment which measures their performance against best-practice benchmark criteria.
This simulator helps screen, test and validate new drivers and develop their skill sets before putting trainees behind the wheel of a real truck.
Detailed simulator controls feature a realistic steering wheel, accelerator, brake and reverse foot pedals plus sweeper controls including broom and head controls. The simulator is set at night in a large retail parking lot which features a variety of obstacles such as shopping carts, potholes, speed bumps, islands, cart corrals, lighting fixtures and more in addition to handpicking debris objectives.
The simulation also includes a standard debris pattern of common parking lot trash, based on where debris naturally tends to accumulate as a result of the influence of human behavior and the environment. All of these variables are objectives, which are scored at the end of each session to measure and develop the mental awareness required to perform parking lot sweeping in the most efficient manner.
Chevrolet partnered with legendary off-road manufacturer American Expedition Vehicles to create the Colorado ZR2 AEV, a one-off concept fitted with just about everything needed for an overlanding adventure. For the reveal at the SEMA Show, Digital Image was able to help convey all of the incredible features of the Colorado ZR2 AEV through video editing, motion graphics and audio post.
Digital Image used actual timed GPS data and track information along with art direction from ad agency Weber Shandwick to create an engaging hot lap video for the 2018 Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE. The video amassed over two million views between Facebook/YouTube. This combination of a customized look and actual track data allowed Chevy to break away from the typical cookie cutter hot lap video for this impressive Nürburgring performance.
Digital Image helped introduce IDENTILOCK™ the world’s first fingerprint trigger lock, the most innovative gun lock the world has ever seen. With our CGI and motion graphics, Sentinl Inc. was able to clearly communicate the functionality and benefits of IDENTILOCK™. Digital Image also provided the footage shot for the usage demonstration as well as other creative services such as storyboards, motion graphics and music.

Digital Image enhanced existing imagery by creating CGI elements, digital compositing and photo retouching.
The images were then used on Ford.com to promote the newly designed vehicle.
When AM General was preparing to unveil their new global Multi-Purpose Truck platform, they called upon Digital Image to provide innovative and creative solutions. We created a CGI version of the MPT vehicle from client supplied CAD data and replaced a real Humvee vehicle in supplied running footage with 3D Animation of the MPT. We were also responsible for creating a 360 spin and hi-res stills of the Chassis showcasing its under-body features. Creating the CGI vehicle allowed for creation of assets that were repurposed for video, web and print.

All video and print elements were created for use in the AM General IDEX 2017 Abu Dhabi display booth
An ideal use for CGI Animation is demonstrating something that is difficult or impossible to do otherwise. A great example is this Lincoln MKZ Safety animation featuring Personal Safety System for Team Detroit. We were not only able to demonstrate airbags at a visible speed, but also go beneath the sheet metal to reveal the steel safety cage engineered to protect vehicle occupants.
