Ferro Industries, Inc. has been manufacturing quality custom back up pads and palm sanders for the industrial, automotive, marine, woodworking and retail markets since 1962.
Digital Image updated their branding to a clean, bold and memorable look. We incorporated their iconic back up pad colors and images of the products throughout the site. Use of photography, video and CG images and 360 animation reinforce the brand while adding visual interest.
SoftVue™ is a unique breast ultrasound system that uses gentle sound waves in water that circle 360° around the whole breast, creating 3D images. The SoftVue™ Discover Breast Ultrasound campaign was created to enroll 10,000 qualified women volunteers to receive imaging at participating medical facilities. The program will collect anonymous images and medical information from volunteers to help scientifically determine if more cancers are found when SoftVue™ is added to yearly mammography screening, compared to mammography only.
Using custom still and video shoots to target a diverse demographic, Digital Image produced informational IRB-approved campaign materials featuring four themes for each participating facility to choose from. This allowed the locations to select the theme they felt would resonate best with their patient demographic. To present these themed choices, the campaign materials were sent in a branded SoftVue™ box containing four themed folders. Within each folder included a postcard, flyer, brochure, letterhead and a reduced-size version of a 24″ x 36″ poster. Some facilities required a unique version of a theme to adhere to their strict branding guidelines.
A logo and mobile-friendly website were also created to provide further information. It also includes applicant eligibility and informational animations showing the SoftVue™ process. The professional medical feel of the brand elevated the perception of the company in the marketplace to match the reality of their ground-breaking products.
Delphinus Medical Technologies needed a new brand identity that did justice to their innovative technology that uses ultrasound and water. Building on their appropriate company name (Latin for dolphin), we merged sound and water into a distinctive icon. The professional medical feel of the brand elevated the perception of the company in the marketplace to match the reality of their ground-breaking products.
We did multiple photo and video shoots over the years as the product was updated and improved, providing edited videos and clean, retouched promotional and instructive images as well as print brochures and other collateral material used for a patient case collection initiative. Our material was being used as they achieved FDA approval and ultimately approval to make the technology commercially available.

At the SEMA Show, Country music superstar Luke Bryan introduced a stylized Suburban concept he created in collaboration with Chevrolet, reflecting his “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” outlook. Digital Image editing, motion graphics and audio post helped introduce the vehicle.
We modeled the 1-gallon liquid container from existing web reference, added a current label from a PDF, then textured and lit the container. From that one, we added other labels and altered the look of the bottle per product – opaque white or translucent, different colored liquid. The result was a high resolution image of 7 different 1-gallon liquid products. Each is consistent in terms of size, position, lighting and quality. If there is a label change, the cost would be nominal to update and re-deliver updated assets, full size only, or also at predetermined smaller sizes for other uses.
The CGI bottles can also be animated for promotional or training uses, with the same ability to update labels when they change.

The number one problem in the sweeper industry is finding qualified people and then properly training them to drive machines that cost $90,000 or more. Proper sweeping techniques with modern machines have become more complex and the cost of operation has increased accordingly. Companies need to be more selective in choosing the the right candidates to become operators. SweeperSIM™ by Digital Image is the tool to address training and qualifying operators entering the parking lot sweeping business.
SweeperSIM™ is a power sweeper simulator allows the training of new parking lot sweeper operators in a simulated sweeping environment which measures their performance against best-practice benchmark criteria.
This simulator helps screen, test and validate new drivers and develop their skill sets before putting trainees behind the wheel of a real truck.
Detailed simulator controls feature a realistic steering wheel, accelerator, brake and reverse foot pedals plus sweeper controls including broom and head controls. The simulator is set at night in a large retail parking lot which features a variety of obstacles such as shopping carts, potholes, speed bumps, islands, cart corrals, lighting fixtures and more in addition to handpicking debris objectives.
The simulation also includes a standard debris pattern of common parking lot trash, based on where debris naturally tends to accumulate as a result of the influence of human behavior and the environment. All of these variables are objectives, which are scored at the end of each session to measure and develop the mental awareness required to perform parking lot sweeping in the most efficient manner.
